This is "New Classics", a branded series from Jeep x Rolling Stone that profiles up and coming athletes, artists and musicians. As the DP, it was my job to create a pre-visualized story board and shot structure and then to overcome that visions technical and aesthetic hurdles with a video team that also needed to travel to several locations in different cities under a set deadline. I was also able to utilize my favorite camera accessory, Garrett Brown’s Steadicam for several select shots.


American Beauty

This ten part branded series for Harley-Davidson x Rolling Stone travels across the country and follows the stories of American rebels. With the goal of enhancing the rebellious identity associated with both iconic brands, it was my job to establish the story format, tone, and musical direction for the series.


Soludos - Alyssa and Chelsea Miller

By using natural light and the iconic Lower East Side of New York City, this social media spot was used to promote Soludos fall line of footwear. As the video side of this multi media campaign, it was my job to enhance the clients website with a compelling doc-style video that was also utilized in several other aspect ratios and run times on various platforms. Featuring model sisters Alyssa and Chelsea Miller.


Invention Factory

This is a series trailer for 'Invention Factory,' a new science show produced by Vice. As the editor on this project it was my task to create an enticing montage of new technology and ideas by utilizing only licensed images and a music track by Hawkwind.


Splice Sounds

Splice creates sample packs for music producers so they can quickly and easily create songs in any genre. As DP for this ad, it was my job to showcase visually how versatile the client’s samples are for a variety of musicians and production setups through a mix of on-location and in studio shoots.


Omega x 007

Camera Operator

This promotional video celebrates the partnership between Omega and 007. As a camera operator on this video team, we were able to shoot, edit, mix and color correct this professional and polished spot under a tight deadline and with limited access in less than 24 hours.


Comcast x Les Twins

Editor

This social media video was used to promote Comcast and the French dance group Les Twins partnership for the 2024 Paris Olympics. As the editor, I was tasked with delivering an energetic, finished video within a tight deadline. Additionally, I had to create several versions of the video tailored for different markets.


Nike SB - Brazil

Editor

Vice x Nike SB traveled to Sao Paulo, Brazil, to meet the young faces of its growing skate scene. The footage from this shoot presented several challenges for me as the editor; all the interviews needed to be transcribed from Portuguese, and a large group of people and their stores had to be condensed into a set time constraint.


DQM - Summer Reels

This three-part Super 8 film series was used to promote DQM's summer line of clothing. The biggest challenges this project presented were overcoming the technical workflow and cost of the film developing and transfer process, all while attempting to authentically capture something as unpredictable as skateboarding while also fulfilling the client's requests.


Hopps Skateboards - Red Light, Green Light

This commercial series for Hopps skateboards features two veteran team riders based on the kids game “Red Light, Green Light”. I pitched this concept with a pre-visualized video created from found footage and animations created by me. I then oversaw the coordination of the several shoots and testing need to achieve the desired visual style and to edit the footage into the final product. Joel Meinholz skates through Grand Central Station during rush hour. Steve Brandi skates through Washington Square Park during a crowded afternoon. Music by Charles Mingus and Gene Krupa.


Addidas x Alltimers - Just Like Old Times

This medieval themed ad was used to promote a collaboration from Adidas and Alltimers skateboards. My role in this project was to handle the specialty Steadicam shots needed for the homage to Sam Raimi’s “Evil Dead”.


Vans x DQM - Harrington Pack

This video was used to promote a collaboration for Vans x DQM's Harrington collection. As the DP, is was my role to collaborate with the Director and client to produce this lighthearted and visually vibrant ad and to create a consistent visual style over the large number of locations needed. The final crane shot also required extra pre planning and coordination to achive the desired shot on location.


Vice x iD - Model Mother Tongue

Vice x iD magazine teamed up for this profile of model Vanessa Matueus. She shows us around her hometown, teaches us some Portuguese sayings and travels to New York City for a photoshoot. As part of a team of other editors I had to collaborate with the producer and director to create a cohesive series of videos with an offbeat sensibility and editing structure.


Vice News Tonight

This trailer was used to promote the upcoming season of Vice News Tonight on Vice TV. The challenge I faced in the editing process was the necessity to cover a large number of stories in a short amount of time while also conveying the importance of bringing awareness to the many issues faced around the world.
